Is Icedrive Support on Holiday? 3 Days, No Reply on WebDAV Outage

My ticket #92FWQOLV has been sitting for 3 days with zero reply.

For over 20 days, the WebDAV service has been unusable. The standard “it’s under maintenance” reply is getting old.

How are users supposed to trust a service for their data when a key feature can be offline for almost a month with no concrete updates? I’m genuinely trying to plan my workflows but I’m completely in the dark.

Is this the new standard for support?

Agree, it is not acceptable for a company to not to communicate the action they are or are not taking. It has been a trend for this company to be very non-responsive to issues. I have had luck with tickets, although slow.

If they were on holiday, they would have put a notification somewhere, or sent a newsletter.

Personally I think this is about the end of this company. I would say, download your stuff asap and store it on a different cloud.

i think the writing has been on the wall for several months. luckily i use a few clouds because you can’t guarantee any single cloud’s longevity, but i opened another cloud a month ago just in case ID dissapears.

So if it’s not opening, it’s hard to download your stuff. I’ve been very happy with Icedrive since I started my account with them several years ago, but this is a bit worrisome. Since I haven’t looked for alternatives, what are some of the best ones?

Good lord, I’ve been trying to get my WordPress UpdraftPlus backup to work on webDAV to IceDrive for two days and I kept getting connection refused. I though I was doing something wrong.

Or is there any alternative to access my files outside the Dashboard?

The problem is bigger because they haven’t updated their webdav information page, either. It’s been over a month now and ID is just asleep at the wheel.

as i said in another post, seems to me ID are not listening anymore… i can only see ID dying. Used to be a good service with good support, sad.

Absolutely. Delays happen, but a complete communication blackout isn’t okay—especially for a service people rely on for their data. Support needs to step it up. and consistent communication should be the minimum standard for any paid service. It’s frustrating when updates are so slow or absent.

Yeah, the lack of any official notice makes it feel less like a holiday and more like abandonment. Saying it straight—this could be the beginning of the end. If you haven’t already, start downloading your data now. Better to act early than regret it later.

Good thinking. Relying on just one provider is risky, especially with how this is playing out. Redundancy = peace of mind.

For real. It hurts seeing something that used to work well just crumble. Maybe they’ll bounce back—but until then, better to play it safe.

we’re stuck waiting.

Totally get that. When there’s no service status update, users waste time troubleshooting stuff that’s not their fault. You’re definitely not alone.

maybe try their desktop app or mobile app

Yeah, the outdated help pages make this worse. A simple status update would go a long way. Radio silence just damages trust.

Yeah… this hits hard. I’ve been dealing with slow speeds and failed downloads for years on Icedrive. Every time I raised a ticket, they’d just say “network issues on your side” and close it—never actually fixed anything.

Now WebDAV’s been down for weeks, no real updates, no proper support. I really tried to stick with them, but it’s getting harder to trust a service that keeps letting you down like this.

Fed up waiting, I’ve moved all my files to Koofr.

Good choice. I am also in the process of moving all my files to a different cloud service provider.
