Hello,
I haven’t found any way to schedule the sync function in the 3.11 revision app, the former one had this feature.
How can I schedule the sync for, say, once a day at 2:00 AM?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Regards,
Mathieu
Hi @Mathieu
You no longer need to set sync intervals because the new app uses Live Sync system. This means your files are updated in real-time, so any changes are automatically synced right away without needing to set a schedule.
Hello Tom,
Thanks a lot for your quick reply.
Nevertheless I’m wondering what happens if I create say, 10 GB of new data, and turn my computer off. Will the sync be working properly after I turn it back on again?
Regards,
Mathieu
Yes, the new sync system is constantly looking for new/amended files to scan and upload to the corresponding cloud folder in the sync pair.
My sync (v 3.15) constantly throws errors. Have to delete and recreate sync to get it working again…effectively a manual sync. Windows 11.
Have you updated to the latest version of the sync app?
This does not happen in my experience Chris (constantly looking for changes), I feel like we need a manual button to force a sync or set up a schedule to force a sync. I am having the same issue it seems as dasignlady (i’m on v3.2.1). The previous sync system at present was far superior and reliable for me. Now I’m left wondering what has uploaded and what hasn’t; far from ideal.
