i am just downloading all the pictures that i had in my phone, (icedrive did the backup into the cloud from my phone)
now i am just using freesync to download them, so basically is like grabbing them from the mounted folder to my pc, (not sure why icedrice does a temp file and then move it, not sure if this what it make it slow) and just does 1 image at the time. i have a very good internet.
i have like 3000 images!!!
interesting that also doesnt show the amount of time, only of 1 image, saying a few secs. should be saying 3000 images, and around like ??? i dont know 15 hrs?
If you have MS Windows, perform ALT+CLT+DEL which opens Task Manager. Ensure the Processes tab is selected. Scroll under Background Processes and look for Icedrive.
For me, I have 1GB memory and it is using 200MB of memory. I also have a 1GB internet speed with upload\download speeds of 900+. The network speed ranges from 11Mbps to 28Mbps. I consider that to be extremely slow given there are no limitations on my side as I can test the speed against other sites which shows connection speeds of 300Mbps - 500Mbps. I am located east coast, U.S.
Let us know what you find and others should post the same. I continually press IceDrive to add more servers so we can at least get 100Mbps speeds (bare minimum).
