hi I am between cloud storage providers and trying some. I have to rely on webdav sync because lots of the apps and tools I use dont have native sync integration they only have dropbox, google drive and onedrive. But I try to sync my pw managers and notes but not syncing says rate limited. I googled and I see many others have same issue with webdav. I jus want to know why is there a limit? Cannot sync at all. If no api then webdav higher limit is essential. Especially on iOS devices because Files app integration is hit and miss with most cloud providers.
That the other thing to the iOS app hasnt gotten update in long time. 2 big factors so I please ask Icedrive team to fix or make higher the webdav limit. Is essential and others want it to. Why have webdav if always keep rate limiting? Make no sense why
Pls do not continue to ignore this. WebDAV is paid feature but not getting proper ability of it and so far poor customer support for it
I thought I would give them ample time to read/respond…but time is up. Clearly they don’t value keeping their userbase, particularly the ones criticizing or asking about their WebDAV implementation, because they keep ignoring such criticism’s & questions related to it, and there is a lot of evidence to that, all anyone has to do is search for WebDAV & look at how many times they’ve ignored it or not given direct answers to questions relating to it. Usually, psychology wise that means they know they somehow f’d up or don’t want to admit to any wrongness associated with their decision making regarding their WebDAV implementation.
I wanted to do the fair thing & allow them ample enough time to respond with their side/views. But no more fair play now, at every opportunity I get, whether it be here, Reddit or elsewhere, whenever I come across posts relating to WebDAV or any criticism/shitty issues that are constant, I’m going to 
all over them & provide the evidence to back it up.
They have 2 options now. Either admit their WebDAV implementation is a knee jerk reaction AND unfair with how they rate limited & basically crippled it because a few users abused the previous non-limited WebDAV function, to now where everybody else who pays their hard earned money has to also suffer the consequences unfairly because of the actions of the few who abused the privilege & because the Icedrive team, in all their infinitely great wisdom decided to make the unfair decision of making everyone else pay the price for it…and then just implement a more fairer solution which they could’ve done from the start (and there are a few different ways they could’ve gone about it instead).
OR
They can continue to ignore & continue to keep pissing off a fair chunk of their userbase in the process & in a few years time cease to exist as a company.
I tried to give them a chance & tried to be fair, in fact I gave them multiple chances, but now they’ve kind of asked for/deserving of intense scrutiny.
