Webdav issues again

Webdav isn’t working again. I just wanna sync 30-40 notes on Joplin app. 154kb…

What’s happen ? I’m with Icedrive since a long time, understanding maintenance etc. But now, near 2026, I think to move for another and serious cloud provider

Sorry mate, but they seem to have abandoned it completely. Staff haven’t responded to anyone here for months. I begin to be convinced that the staff all died, and the site is just running on its own now, until eventually the servers crash or the domain expires.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I need to figure out what to do quickly.

i’m surprised anyone is still using icedrive. no posts from any ID staff for about 2 months now, and then only occasional posts on how sorry they were for not posting.for the past year.
just noticed that JimmyB’s profile (i believe he was the ceo) maybe seems to have been deleted.

looks to me ID has a very limited time left. hope that’s not so, but i abandoned any expectation of longevity months ago

I hope I can migrate before things get worse.
I’m already researching services. If you have any tips, feel free to share them with me.

Maybe a bit too early to count them out completely since they still have updates on their changelog: https://icedrive.net/changelog from this December, but like…that’s the only sign of life.

But…yeah they basically haven’t interacted with people on the community forums for a long time, and are terrible at communication (in general). Meanwhile, there have been constant outages with various services from the apps, to webDAV, to the web portal, to slow upload/download speeds, etc. and we almost never get any kind of triage or outage report or explanation. They don’t even have a status page, which feels like the bare minimum required to run a cloud storage provider. It really feels like they don’t care about customers anymore/don’t know what they’re doing. Meanwhile, they continue to run sales, making the whole thing fee like a bit of a scam, since they’re desperately trying to attract new customers with discounts, while not taking care of their existing ones.

completely agree, and such a shame as it’s been this way since the start of 2025 really, and they used to be reasonably good communicators before that. there are several new providers out there with reliable webdav (& some with lifetimes) much more competitively priced than ice.
sadly, i rate icedrive only one step above internxt these days, and that’s sayin something
