it works fine through the browser most of the time but via the Android app it is almost impossible to watch videos. With a very good internet connection, they still don’t seem to buffer properly and hang all the time. Has this been going on for a while?
I had read that there is a new player for this already since 2022.
We believe these issues are related to the very high video resolution of 3840x2160.
We do not transcode media uploaded to Icedrive servers to low resolution versions.
When you tap an item for preview, media files are streamed at their original resolution/bitrate.
See if you can transcode the video to a low resolution version.
