V3.11 and third party app copy/paste does not launch a sync

Overview
Icedrive 3.11
Windows 10

Issue
In some apps such as Adobe Bridge, doing a copy/paste in the app creates a copy file locally as expected but no sync occurs whereas it should → the remote file structure is not updated!
Please fix this issue.

How have you set up your sync (full sync or backup)?

Hello,
image
Under 3.11 I have set the system as shown on the attached file, I think is what you mean by “backup”.

Let me make a little up please

Bug not solved: up !

Have you updated to the latest version of the sync app? The sync event is triggered upon opening the app so if you make changes to the local folder, the next time you open the app it will begin syncing the cloud folder with any changes previously made to the local folder.

Hello Chris,
I have updated the app to rev 3.21.
In your answer you speak about “the local folder”, what does it reffer to?
Regards,
Mathieu

When you create a sync pair it is between a local folder on your PC and a cloud folder in your cloud. The local folder refers to the folder on your PC in relation to that sync pair.

Thanks for ur explanation Chris.
Nevertheless, it turns out that when I use a third party app (Adobe Bridge) and copy/past in a new folder under the root folder, no sync happens when Icedrive is relaunched.
A pity.

Do you have the Icedrive app open when making the changes to the local folder?

No, I followed your advice: Icedrice is close, I make the copy/cast through Adobe Bridge and then I relaunch Icedrive.
Anyway, it’s the same when Icedrive is fully active when Coopy/paste…

The app does need to be running whilst making changes to the local folder in order to detect the changes.

Hello Chris,
Against all odds, I’ve updated Icedrive to 3.22 and sync is now OK when I copy/paste under Adobe Bridge!
Thanks for your patience and advices.
Mathieu
