Update to v3.32 seems not to be working - Windows 10

Overview

[Currently running 3.31 - trying to update to 3.32 ]
[Windows 10 ]

Issue

The app (3.31) is telling me to update to 3.32. I say yes but nothing happens.

I have also gone on to the website and downloaded the v3.32 installer. This appears to run successfully (no reported errors) but at the end the app is unchanged.

The old app is not running during the install. When the install script says " do you want to launch the app" I say yes, but it is 3.31 that launches.

I have tried this a couple of times with the same result each time.

Any suggestions?

I restarted the pc and then it picked it up

I’ve finally got it installed. I didn’t find a simple restart did the job. I tried a few combinations and then found one that has worked.

Restart - don’t start Icedrive - run the install script from the website.

I couldn’t get the invitation from the app to upgrade itself to work at all.

Thanks again for the suggestion to look at a restart. I suspect it was that that cleared some state somewhere.
