Purpose for 48 hr delay for new users and 24 hr delay for sharing files

I was pleased to find the Icedrive platform but was more than a little surprised to find a 48 hr delay for new users and a 24 hr delay for sharing files.

Just what exactly is the purpose for these deterring features? It’s like a great introduction followed by a couple of gotcha! catches. I know of no other site that makes it intentionally difficult for new users right off the bat, and I think you should consider a policy change.

This particular feature was implemented to protect against malicious actors who would use bots to create new free accounts and abuse our share links in order to protect our network.
