Setup of a sync pair asks type of sync but then this is not noted in the pair’s description in the sync menu and there are alternative options for type of sync in the settings menu. This is confusing and could create real trouble for someone. For example, after setting up sync pairs recently for the first time I lost some files I know I just had and I have no idea how, I hope it was not related to sync.
Secondly, the option for sync to target unique local-storage device ID would be very practical and also be a preventative for a major sync mess-up. For example, I keep a local as well as cloud backup and I would not want icedrive to sync with my backup copy simply because the drive letter and folder dictated it.
