Malware or virus infected local and cloud drive files?

Let’s say that a person has a malware/virus infect the various files on their computer. How would this affect the local Icedrive on a Mac/Windows/Linux computer and how would this affect the files in the online storage?

Is there some automatic virus check when dealing with the Icedrive cloud storage files?
