Linux app won't create "hidden" folder

I am using the AppImage version of the app on Fedora Linux 40. I am able to mount my drive (and encrypted folder) just fine, and I am able to create files/folders.

I am using Obsidian to save notes, and I wanted to sync it via Icedrive (instead of their sync option). I created a folder to store its files, but I get a “permission denied” error!

Obsidian wants to create an .obsidian folder (in Linux, files/folders starting with a dot are “hidden”). In the Icedrive app, under “alerts”, I see ` The hidden folder .obsidian will not be created."

Why won’t it create this folder? I want to sync hidden files/folders, why won’t Icedrive allow me to do that?

It’s possible that Obsidian itself is not compatible with our drive app so would it be possible for you to submit a support ticket and attach the drive app log so that our development team can investigate further?

Ok, I can do that. Though, the issue only seems to happen on Linux (Fedora 40).

I installed the Windows versions of Obsidian and Icedrive and everything worked.

I’ll send the Linux logs over to you guys.
