IceVPN Transparency

Greetings!
After a bit of digging, we discovered that iceVPN may be reselling pureVPN. Is that correct? Nothing against ice drive or ice privacy. But a bit of transparency would be appreciated.
Thank you for confirming or denying those findings.
Here are some screenshots that we gathered.
I want to clarify that those are not my screenshots and was rather sent to me in another community.
It appeared that my previous post was deleted. I hope this was a mistake. We’ll be archiving this webpage.

Thank you for the response.

Hey!

We are not “reselling” anything as such, the dots you are trying to connect are actually Atom, We lease access to their servers for negotiated prices. Think of it like AWS for VPNs. It is tried, tested and proven for security and used by most of the VPN’s you probably use already, PureVPN being one and Surfshark is another (which you previously spoke highly of).

We make good deals and pass the savings onto you guys. All the apps are made by us in house, all apis are by us, we simply just use their network as a way of easily deploying a large, fully functional quality VPN service.

Sure the goal would be to eventually have our own huge network, but that requires a lot more time and money. It may come sooner than expected though. Infact, ExpressVPN also used atom before doing just that. Though I would argue you would now be passing your data onto the CCP by using them now.

If you focused your attention elsewhere instead of trying to directly slate us for some particular vendetta, you would notice that pretty much all VPN’s use the same networks

And, if you think about it - Would you rather use a VPN network that is new to the market, from a new company that could potentially fold under pressure, whos server providers could crumble under pressure, or one that is tried and tested to the utmost degree over decades?

Hope that helps your archive!
