I’ve started to notice that my Icedrive Cloud contents differs to what is on my local device. I’ve re-enabled the delete in cloud under policy but how often does icedive check all files/folders to see if there are any differences? Is the only sure way to delete the pairing and re-pair?
Yup. You’re not alone. Icedrive’s sync feature is now mostly useless if you want to actually make sure you have the same data on both sides. I and many others here have turned to using the icedrive app exclusively to “mount” the drive, and then using third party apps like freefilesync or syncback to do the syncing work. If you search for either of those app names you’ll find more details elsewhere on this forum. Hope that helps.
Thanks for responding. I’m not at that stage yet, I found unpairing and repairing fixed my issue for now but it had 400 missing files. It would be a lot better if there was a button to force a manual rescan or at least schedule a rescan.
