Icedrive and Disk Management

Hi,

How can I make Icedrive (I:) appear in my disk management app?

Hey @Henning welcome to the community! You need to mount the drive app in Windows by opening the desktop client and going to the mount tab. When you click mount a new window will open which will have the default designation of I: in your directory. This is your drive app designation. From here you can simply drag and drop files/folders from your local drive folders to the drive app to upload.

@Chris - Does the drive not have a auto mount option or does this need to be mounted manually each time the app starts ?

Hey @Kernow_Dave if you have it set to open on start up it should automatically mount however this is not the case with all versions of Windows unfortunately. If you submit a support ticket I can forward onto our dev team for them to investigate. Additionally, if you email the drive app log to support@icedrive.net referencing your ticket number it will give them a better idea of what is happening. You can locate the drive app log via the following pathway;

C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\Icedrive\logdata.txt
