How its really works windows upload to Icedrive

I’ve been using OneDrive so far and I wasn’t satisfied. Recently I discovered IceDrive, which is supposed to work the way I need it. No automatic syncs enabled by default, no generated mentions, simple and intuitive storage tool. Cool. I purchased a lifetime subscription and started uploading files…

I can’t find anywhere how uploading to disk from a computer works. I have an IceDrive disk mounted on Windows and I started coping folders from the local disk. Windows copying goes quickly, but after completion, the copying is still visible in the application in the Transfers tab. So the files were copied or just cached somewhere.

yes, that’s exactly how it works. when you copy to I: is actually goes into a cache, then icedrive uploads as soon as its able to, but slower than the windows copy because it going over your broadband. if you look in your settings, you can see where your cache is actually located and can change it if you need to.
it’s probably a very bad idea to mess with any files actually in the cache.
