I use degoogled android devices, phone and tablet. Degoogled means I dont want or trust anything google if there is another way.
Lately i have seen what may be google trying to bully their way into privacy services, i am concerned that includes Icedrive.
I am noticing pop up messages saying that icedrive will not work properly unless google play services are enabled. I use GrapheneOS on my devices and prefer to turn anything google OFF because I value privacy and Google does not.
Does anyone else here share my concerns? I am hearing reports here in Australia government crackdowns on privacy, digital ID etc. Like a cettain alledged virus,it seems to be a worldwide problem. I hope that privacy centric providers with remain vigilant in this battle, as I know many are.
