Issue
If I hadn’t had another local backup, I would have lost many of my files. The file and folder names were replaced with random characters (a-f0-9) in one of a main encrypted folder, although I still need to verify if this issue affects additional folders. Notably, this folder had not been edited recently.
I observed that IceDrive was attempting to transfer over 150+ GB of files that I had not edited. To prevent further issues, I stopped the IceDrive program.
Based on my observations with other apps, the problem might be related to running two separate Windows user accounts simultaneously (one for work and one for relaxation), each with its own instance of IceDrive.
