Based on Chris’s response to this topic, it seems that direct download links are not yet possible at this time. (Currently IceDrive makes users click on a download button first, before initiating a file download). So I’m just adding it as a feature request here since I would find that very useful and I’m sure others would as well. For example, Dropbox allows adding the ?dl=1 query string to a URL in order to automatically start the direct download when the URL is visited (see here). I would love a similar feature on Icedrive, though I understand why there might be abuse concerns/worries with adding something like this. Perhaps restricting new accounts from using this kind of feature for 48 hours would help alleviate some of those problems, or adding it as a premium feature available to paid accounts, would help limit potential abuse?
