In the past 3 days I have had issues with the mobile side while trying to log in trough the app as well as a mobile browser. I get the error code API G1000 when trying to log in with a browser as well as putting a support ticket in, also the app will not let me log in, as it gives an error message as well, and I did delete and reinstall.
I’m getting exactly the same. I feel kinda bad that i signed up for a lifetime plan. I paid significant amounts of money but I don’t trust it.
How can the api be down for like 5 days like this post suggests and not even a response? How am i supposed to trust that as a platform for all my important files?
Same. MacOS 15.5. App version 3.33. App error log reads: “Could not resolve host: api.icedrive.net”. Attempted login from web, both Safari and Firefox, "API Error (G1000). It’s been like this for a couple of weeks. To access my files, I have to remote in to my office’s Windows machine, access my files, and then mail to my Mac.
So I managed to log a ticket using a different machine. This generated an email message with confirmation of the ticket’s creation. This email has a “view ticket” link in it. Clicking on that link brought me to the login page and, low and behold, I could login. From there I was able to view my dashboard, unlock encryption, and access my files.
Sorry for the delayed reply. If you are experiencing the G1000 or connection errors when trying to access the icedrive applications, would you mind accessing your Broadband router settings and allow access to icedrive, this may resolve the issue.
To do this, you would just need to do the following:
1- Enter your IP address into the web and press enter ( can find your IP using https://www.whatsmyip.org/ )
2- Log in to your router by entering your username and password. If you haven’t changed them, they are often “admin” and “password” by default, but check your router’s sticker or manufacturer’s documentation for specifics.
3- Navigate through the router’s settings menus. Look for options like “Advanced,” “Security,” “Access Control,” “Parental Controls,” or "Website Filtering and allow access to api.icedrive.net
Let me know if you require any further assistance or if the issue still persists.
