3.11 on Fedora not opening

New Linux App not opening

[ Mount and Sync ] [ 3.11 ]
[ Fedora 40 ]

Issue

Hoping someone can help me, I am convinced I am doing something wrong. I downloaded the new Linux App Image version 3.11 and when downloaded I enable the “executable as program” option in the properties but double clicking it doesn’t do anything. Is there some additional step I need to be taking?

You likely have the same issue many others have had with your system not having the expected version of libevent installed. Run the app from the terminal and verify that is your issue. If so, follow the instructions @jjoneil provided to create a symlink, noting any specific differences for Fedora. You can find many other examples of how someone created the symlink for their distro throughout the forum.
