just got a notification to download new version v3.55, said yes, it downloaded to a temp dir,
but it didn’t get installed. some error msg in the log about hashes not matching. what a laugh
Same for me. Banner for 3.55 but no install. 2 days, several tries
if you want to upgrade to v3.55 just to stop the prompts (as the new version still hasn’t fixed the data integrity issue i’ve reported here last july) then you can download from their website and just install it.
seeing as the last update several weeks ago they forgot to publish the signed version so it asked for a uac confirmation before the client would start, which they did silently fix soonish, and now this. its looking like they’ve employed someone from kindergarten to develop their code with such basic software delivery errors.
It seems this v3.55 is NOT for the IcedriveCLI for Linux, is that correct? There seem to be changes causing my current usage of IcedriveCLI-v3.33 to have segmentation fault when I run the command:
IcedriveCLI-v3.33 <file/folder list>
which is supposed to do this: upload specified files and folders to the cloud.
yes, a new windows client.
i remember a segmentation fault being mentioned before, but it wasn’t resolved
also i have a vague memory i had to install a package to get ID to work on linux, sry can’t remember the details
